On February 26, 2026, Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited to deliver a special lecture titled “Cybersecurity for Public Health” at the 2026 Modernized Event-based Surveillance (M-EBS) Community Seminar, organized by the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health. The seminar was held at the Riverton Amphawa Hotel, Samut Songkhram Province, and was attended by more than 150 public health professionals.
The seminar aimed to strengthen the M-EBS community at all levels by fostering collaboration and integrated operations among relevant agencies. It also served as a platform for participants to exchange experiences, share best practices, discuss challenges and obstacles, and explore approaches to further enhance the M-EBS program in alignment with current public health situations.
