ICT Mahidol Organized “Orientation Session: 2026 Japan Internships”

On May 12, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “Orientation Session: 2026 Japan Internships” to prepare 29 students for their upcoming ICT professional internship program in Japan, scheduled to take place from mid-May to early August 2026. The participating students are from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), and the Master of Science Program in Computer Science. They will undertake their professional internships at nine partner universities in Japan, as follows:

  • Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST): 5 students
  • Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST): 2 students
  • The University of Osaka: 2 students
  • Tohoku University: 7 students
  • Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT): 2 students
  • Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT): 2 students
  • Tokyo City University (TCU): 4 students
  • Waseda University, Faculty of Human Sciences: 3 students
  • Kyushu University: 2 students

The session was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Chair of the Master of Science Program in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, together with Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote and Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul, faculty members from the Computer Science Academic Group. They shared their experiences and provided useful guidance to the students in Room IT323, 3rd floor, ICT Mahidol, Salaya Campus.

The “Orientation Session: 2026 Japan Internships” was organized to provide students with essential information and practical guidelines before their departure for international professional training. The session covered key preparation topics, including required documents, accommodation planning, academic and work readiness, as well as advice on living in Japan. The goal was to help students adapt smoothly and participate in the internship program with confidence and efficiency.
