On May 14, 2026, Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited as a guest speaker for a training program entitled “Cybersecurity Awareness and Ethics in the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technology for Government Operations” for personnel of the Department of Industrial Works. The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Pornyod Klankrong, Director General of the Department of Industrial Works, at the Department of Industrial Works meeting room.
The training program, organized by the Department of Industrial Works, aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, understanding, and digital skills, while raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity. It also provided insights into various forms of cyber threats, particularly emerging challenges in the current digital landscape. In addition, the training sought to equip participants with fundamental knowledge of preventive measures against potential future cyber threats. It also encouraged the appropriate, secure, and timely application of ethical principles in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in government operations.
