On April 17–18, 2026, the AI Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the MUICT Hackathon 2026: Artery Calcium Scoring via ECG (ACSE Hackathon 2026) for students in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The opening remarks were delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, who served as the advisor to the club. The session was moderated by Mr. Eakbodin Kanjanamuengtong, President of the AI Club, together with club members who served as masters of ceremonies throughout the event. The activity took place at the Bit & Bytes Hall, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The MUICT Hackathon 2026: Artery Calcium Scoring via ECG (ACSE Hackathon 2026) was organized to provide students with an opportunity to apply their competencies in programming, data analysis, and artificial intelligence model development to practical medical problems. During the two-day event, participants joined the Workshop & Kickoff session to acquire essential background knowledge and receive the competition tasks before proceeding to the Hackathon session, where they developed and presented their projects within the allotted timeframe.
The competition featured 16 student teams from the Faculty of ICT, of which the three award-winning teams were from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), as follows:

This activity reflected ICT Mahidol’s commitment to promoting hands-on learning and encouraging students to apply their knowledge of information technology to challenging real-world problems. It also helped foster essential skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, all of which are important for their future academic and professional development.
