On April 20, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), represented by the Committee for Document Delivery and Destruction together with the Big Cleaning Week working team, participated in the 2026 “Bring Paper Back Home” Project at Siam Kraft Industry Co., Ltd. in Ratchaburi Province.
As part of this initiative, the Faculty collected unused paper from its Big Cleaning Week activity, which was organized in late December 2025. The activity encouraged staff members to clean their desks and office areas, resulting in the collection of a total of 1,400 kilograms of paper. The collected paper was then exchanged for 75 reams of new paper, which will be used in various activities of the Faculty in the future.
The “Bring Paper Back Home” project aims to reduce paper waste, conserve natural resources, and lower greenhouse gas emissions by returning used paper to the recycling and remanufacturing process so that it can be utilized to its fullest potential. The project is carried out under the concept of “Turning Waste into Value.” This initiative reflects Mahidol University’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
