ICT Mahidol Welcomed Delegation from the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, People’s Republic of China, on a Visit to MIRU Lab

On August 14, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued, Chair of the Master of Science Program in Game Technology and Gamification, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), welcomed Ms. Mao Lin and a group of students from the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, People’s Republic of China, together with representatives from the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, on the occasion of their visit to the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU Lab) at ICT Mahidol, Salaya Campus.

The visit provided the delegation with an opportunity to learn about the research activities and research environment of MIRU Lab, as well as approaches to applying information technology and digital expertise to support interdisciplinary research. The visit also highlighted ICT Mahidol’s role in developing and applying technological knowledge across various disciplines, while promoting academic exchange and international collaboration.

This activity was part of an academic and cultural exchange program for undergraduate students from the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, conducted under a student exchange agreement between the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, and the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University. Held from August 12–17, 2026, the program aimed to promote the exchange of academic knowledge and cultural experiences, while providing students with opportunities to visit laboratories, research centers, and educational facilities at Mahidol University in related fields.

The visit to MIRU Lab therefore served as another opportunity to strengthen connections between science and information technology, while fostering an environment for learning and academic exchange among students and staff from international educational institutions.
