On April 1, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant to the President for Research, Mahidol University, who served as the course instructors for ITDS201: Industry Problems and Experiences II, organized a special lecture titled “The Journey of Thang Rat, Thailand Super App.”
On this occasion, Mr. Petch Khuapanich, Vice President of Service Development Department at the Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) and an ICT Mahidol alumnus (Batch 3), was invited as the guest speaker. He shared insights into the journey and development of the “Thang Rat” application, a government super app of Thailand that integrates a wide range of public services into a single platform, including eligibility verification, registration for government programs, and access to public information. The lecture highlighted the evolution of public service delivery in the digital era, from a system in which citizens had to interact with multiple agencies or use various applications to a centralized platform that enhances convenience and efficiently supports a wide range of government services. The lecture was delivered to second-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) and was held in Room IT204, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
