On April 29, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course on “Introduction to Database Design and Development.” The session was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group. The activity was attended by approximately 50 high school students and was held in the IT104 Computer Laboratory, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The course provided fundamental knowledge on database design and development, introducing the importance of data in the digital era and the process of database system design. In addition, the participants engaged in hands-on practice in creating and managing databases, as well as applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios to enhance practical skills for future academic and professional use.
The 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course on “Introduction to Database Design and Development” aimed to provide high school students with the opportunity to explore the teaching and learning environment at the Faculty of ICT, while strengthening their knowledge and skills in technology.
