On September 1–2, 2025, faculty members and students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), presented their research at the “Invention and Innovation Contest, Fiscal Year 2026” held at the Activity Hall, 2nd Floor, NRCT Building 8, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The showcased research projects included:
- “MySecureMap” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, Lecturer in the Computer Science Academic Group, together with Mr. Poramet Kaewpradub, Mr. Phatcharaphol Hathaichot, and Mr. Waritthorn Mahasirapanya, ICT alumni (Batch 19).
- “CTnavi+: Brain Navigator” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, Lecturer in the Computer Science Academic Group, ICT Mahidol, in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dittapong Songsaeng, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natsuda Kaothanthong, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University.
The “Invention and Innovation Contest, Fiscal Year 2026” served as a platform for inventors to showcase their potential by presenting ready-to-use inventions and innovations, highlighting the country’s progress in research and development. The contest aimed to foster the application of research outcomes in various sectors and to further extend innovations for the benefit of society in the future.
