On April 28, 2026, Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean for Engineering and Environment, represented the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), at the “10th MU Safety Day: Occupational Health and Safety Campaign,” organized by the Center for Occupational Safety, Health and Workplace Environment Management (COSHEM), Mahidol University. The event was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, who delivered the opening remarks. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ittichote Chuckpaiwong, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment, delivered a report on the university’s operational outcomes over the past year.
On this occasion, Lect. Snit Sanghlao received the “2025 Safety Educational Institution Certificate” in recognition of ICT Mahidol’s achievement in receiving the Outstanding Award for nine consecutive years, as well as “2025 MU Safety Standard Certificate – Advance Level.” The certificates were presented by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University. He also received a symbolic safety item from Asst. Prof. Dr. Ittichote Chuckpaiwong, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment, at the Foyer of Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The “10th MU Safety Day: Occupational Health and Safety Campaign” is an annual event organized by COSHEM, on April 28, which coincides with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This year’s event was held under the theme “MU Safety: Smart & Safe Together” to promote awareness among all university units of the importance of developing systematic safety databases, as well as to support the application of technology and information systems for effective safety management. The event aimed to encourage the use of safety-related data as a tool for risk analysis, preventive planning, and the sustainable development of safety systems at both the faculty/unit and university levels.
