ICT Mahidol’s Cybersecurity Club, in Collaboration with SEC Playground Co., Ltd., Organized a Special Lecture Titled “Think Like a Hacker”

On February 11, 2026, the Cybersecurity Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with SEC Playground Co., Ltd., organized a special lecture titled “Think Like a Hacker.” The session was delivered to first- to fourth-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), as well as members of the Cyber Club from the Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering. The lecture was held at the IT105 Computer Laboratory, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Chair of the Master of Science Program in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, who serves as the advisor to the Cybersecurity Club. The activity was led by Mr. Pakkaphan Permvanitkul, a fourth-year student in the Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) and President of the Cybersecurity Club, together with Mr. Nattachai Mingrattikorn, a third-year student in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and Vice President of the club, who facilitated the session.

The session was delivered as an interactive workshop and included simulated cyberattack scenarios that enabled participants to examine potential threats, troubleshoot challenges, and uncover system vulnerabilities to retrieve the hidden “flag.” Through this hands-on experience, the activity aimed to deepen practical knowledge, strengthen critical thinking skills, and support students in building a foundation for further learning and future careers in cybersecurity.
