On April 24, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with Mr. Apisek Tewinpagti, Chief Executive Officer of Beryl 8 Plus Public Company Limited. The ceremony took place at Room IT404, 4th floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant to the President for Research, Mahidol University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems and Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), Faculty of ICT; along with Mr. Apiwat Deekongsiang, Human Resources Manager, Ms. Kanchalikakorn Kamthong, Marketing Manager; and staff members from Beryl 8 Plus Public Company Limited.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to enhance students’ essential knowledge, capabilities, and information technology skills through hands-on learning experiences, including senior projects, internships, and cooperative education in collaboration with the company. This partnership provides students with opportunities to expand their knowledge and create innovative work by integrating business insights into research in response to current market demands. In addition, the collaboration promotes research and academic cooperation between the education and business sectors. It also encourages knowledge sharing through guest lectures and workshops for students, faculty members, and staff of the Faculty of ICT. These activities will focus on information technology, innovation, and digital industry trends, with the goal of enhancing expertise and inspiring continuous learning and development.
