On February 10, 2026, the Student Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the Office of Academic Administration, organized the “Macro Business Simulation (MBS)” – Round 3: Competition Round. The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisupa Palakvangsa Na Ayudhya and Dr. Pattaraporn Sangaroonsilp, instructors in the Computer Science Academic Group and the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), who presided over the opening ceremony. The activity was held at the Innovative Space, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This activity was conducted as part of the ICT CUP 2025, a student competition aimed at fostering unity and collaboration among first- to fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The competition aims to develop participants’ strategic thinking and business analysis skills. Eligibility for Round 3 required participants to successfully pass the selection process in Macro Business Simulation (MBS) Round 1 (Introductory Round), held on January 28, 2026, and Macro Business Simulation (MBS) Round 2 (Practice Round), held on February 4, 2026.
The “Macro Business Simulation (MBS)” – Round 3: Competition Round was designed to equip students with competencies required in today’s workplace. The activity focuses on strengthening strategic thinking, systematic analysis of business data and situations, and rational decision-making based on data-driven insights and careful planning. In addition, it provides students with opportunities to develop analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork skills. These essential competencies can be applied effectively across academic pursuits, professional careers, and future entrepreneurial endeavors.
