On July 2, 2026, students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with students from the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies and Mahidol University International College, formed Team Tech4Future and presented their project in the Grand Pitching Round of the Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2026 before a panel of distinguished judges from academia and industry. The event was held at the Kanpai Mahidol Room, PMH Conference Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The team consisted of:
- Miss Pattranit Pabjansing – Fourth-year student, Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology
- Mr. Napatkrit Asavarojpanich – Fourth-year student, Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology
- Miss Kunruethai Patimapornchai – Third-year student, Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology
- Miss Sasithorn Bunpot – Fourth-year student, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies
- Mr. Natipum Vitayapradi – Fourth-year student, Mahidol University International College
The Team Tech4Future secured its place in the Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2026 after winning the Mahidol Hackathon 2026, which was jointly organized by the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies (EN), the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mahidol University International College (IC), and the Institute for Innovative Learning (iNT). The competition took place on March 21, 2026.
The Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2026 was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement, Mahidol University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, Mahidol University, who delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the eight student teams that had advanced to the Grand Pitching Round. The finalist teams represented faculties and campuses across Mahidol University, including the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, College of Management, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Amnat Charoen Campus, and Nakhon Sawan Campus.
The Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2026 was designed to encourage students to develop business ideas and innovative prototypes under the theme of “Holistic Wellbeing.” The program focused on four key dimensions of wellbeing: physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, social wellbeing, and environmental balance, through a series of mentoring sessions and hands-on workshops on innovation design and entrepreneurship. The competition highlighted the potential of students from diverse academic disciplines to integrate expertise in technology, environmental sustainability, and innovation to address real-world challenges aligned with sustainable development, while demonstrating their ability to create solutions that generate positive and lasting impacts on society, the economy, and the environment.
