ICT Mahidol Won 3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 7 Bronze Medals at “Mahidol Games 2026”

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), would like to extend its sincere congratulations to its staff members for winning a total of 3 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals at the “Mahidol Games 2026,” held from February 23 to March 31, 2026. The award-winning staff members are as follows:

  • Swimming: 3 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze Medals

The swimming competitions were held on March 6, 2026, at the Sirimongkol Swimming Complex, College of Sports Science and Technology, Mahidol University.

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham won 1 gold and 2 silver medals:
    • Gold Medal – 50 m Backstroke (Female, 55+ age group)
    • Silver Medal – 50 m Freestyle (Female, 55+ age group)
    • Silver Medal – 50 m Breaststroke (Female, 55+ age group)
  • Mr. Nuttapol Boonsom won 2 bronze medals:
    • Bronze Medal – 50 m Breaststroke (Male, 50–54 age group)
    • Bronze Medal – 50 m Butterfly (Male, 50–54 age group)
  • Mrs. Thanaporn Sungprasert won 2 gold medals:
    • Gold Medal – 50 m Freestyle (Female, 50–54 age group)
    • Gold Medal – 50 m Breaststroke (Female, 50–54 age group)
    •  1 Silver Medal – 4×50 m Medley Relay (45+ age group): Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Mrs. Thanaporn Sungprasert, and Mr. Nuttapol Boonsom

  • Athletics: 1 Silver Medal

The competition was held on March 4, 2026, at the Athletics Field, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

  • Snooker: 2 Bronze Medals

The competition was held on March 14, 2026, at S1 Signature Snooker Club (Sai 1).

  • Mr. Chanokchon Sriploy (Golden Jubilee Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital)
    • Bronze Medal (Men’s Singles, Division 2)
  • Mr. Aekkarat Petklab, Mr. Jumrieng Yingyuenyong, and Mr. Somsak Tanasri
    • Bronze Medal (Men’s Team – 3 persons)
  • Joong Gun Run: 1 Bronze Medal

The competition was held on March 25, 2026, at the pedestrian road around Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

  • Miss Siriporn Rojanakosol and Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid
    • Bronze Medal (Women’s Open – Pair, 35–39 age group)
  • Aerobics: 1 Bronze Medal

The competition was held on March 31, 2026, at the MU Sport Complex, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

  • Miss Kanyasorn Sudsangiem
    • Bronze Medal (Women’s Individual Marathon, Under 30 age group)

The Mahidol Games 2026 was organized under the theme of “In Memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother”, with the aim of promoting sports and recreational welfare for university staff, strengthening unity across faculties, and enhancing a sense of organizational belonging. The event also served as a platform for selecting outstanding personnel in each sport to represent the university at the Thailand University Staff Games.

In this year’s competition, staff members from the Faculty of ICT participated in 11 sports and 1 recreational activity, including athletics, golf, crossword, sepak takraw, hoop takraw, tennis, badminton, pétanque, futsal, swimming, aerobics, and the “Joong Gun Run.”

The Faculty of ICT commends and extends its encouragement to its staff and personnel from various faculties of Mahidol University, who represented the Faculty of ICT in the “Mahidol Games 2026.” Their participation and achievements bring great honor and pride to the Faculty.
