The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), has been certified for ISO/IEC 29110-4-1:2018 by TUV NORD (Thailand) Ltd. in the scope of Project Management and Software Implementation Processes. The certification is valid from July 11, 2026, to July 10, 2029.
ICT Mahidol underwent the ISO/IEC 29110-4-1:2018 certification audit during June 8–9, 2026. This audit assessed the Faculty’s software development and software project management processes for Very Small Entities (VSEs) under the framework of Software Engineering — Lifecycle Profiles for Very Small Entities. The objective was to certify the quality of the Faculty’s management processes and software product development in accordance with international standards.
This achievement reaffirms the role of ICT Mahidol as an educational institution in information and communication technology that places strong emphasis on enhancing the quality of its work processes, fostering innovation, and delivering standardized outcomes. These efforts support the Faculty’s missions in education, research, academic services, and sustainable digital technology development. ICT Mahidol has continuously maintained its certification under this international standard since 2013.
