ICT Mahidol Welcomed Delegation from Tokyo City University, Japan, for Academic and Research Collaboration Discussion

On 24 June 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Program Director, Master of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource; Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Computer Science, and Head of the Medical Informatics Research Clusters (MI) and Machine Vision and Information Transfer (MVIT) Research Group; and Dr. Sarit Khirirat, Instructor in the Computer Science Group, welcomed delegates from Tokyo City University, Japan, on the occasion of their visit to discuss academic and research collaborations at Room IT404, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

During the visit, representatives from both institutions exchanged academic information and presented their research works in order to explore perspectives and opportunities for future research collaboration. Following the research presentations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth led the delegation on a tour of ICT Mahidol and the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU Lab).

This visit marked an important opportunity to strengthen the academic relationship between ICT Mahidol and Tokyo City University, while also expanding international research collaboration networks to support the advancement of knowledge, innovation, and research in information and communication technology for the benefit of society.
