On June 29, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), welcomed Prof. Dr. Khokiat Kengskool, Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), Florida International University (FIU), USA, on the occasion of his visit to discuss academic and research collaboration, as well as to promote opportunities for pursuing doctoral studies at Florida International University.
On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of ICT; Dr. Wannarat Suntiamorntut, Deputy Dean; Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research; and Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, jointly welcomed the delegation and participated in discussions on potential academic partnerships, research collaboration, and future joint activities at Room A2, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Following the collaborative meeting, Prof. Dr. Khokiat Kengskool delivered an online seminar via Webex Meetings entitled “Opportunity for PhD Degree with Full Financial Support at the College of Engineering & Computing, Florida International University (FIU), USA” for graduate students from the Faculty of ICT and the Faculty of Engineering. The seminar highlighted scholarship opportunities and provided guidance on pursuing doctoral studies at Florida International University.
This visit marked an important opportunity to strengthen academic relations between the Faculty of ICT and Florida International University. It also paved the way for knowledge exchange, the development of research collaboration, and support for international graduate study pathways for students in the future.
