ICT Mahidol Faculty Member Invited as Guest Speaker for the “NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 (NIST CSF 2.0)” Training for MUIT Personnel

From June 18 to 19, 2026, Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited as a guest speaker for the “NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 (NIST CSF 2.0)” training program for personnel of the Division of Information Technology, Mahidol University. Mr. Phakphoom Masrijun, Head of The Communication Networks Management Unit, Technology Infrastructure Division, also served as a training facilitator. The training was held at the Training Room, Division of Information Technology, Office of the President, and the Computer Laboratory, 2nd Floor, Mahidol Learning Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The “NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 (NIST CSF 2.0)” training program was organized by the Division of Information Technology, Office of the President, Mahidol University. The program aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of Division of Information Technology personnel regarding the principles, structure, and key changes of the NIST CSF 2.0 framework. It also focused on the application of cybersecurity guidelines and measures for governance, planning, and the development of cybersecurity operations in accordance with each participant’s responsibilities in an appropriate and effective manner. This training also aimed to support Mahidol University in adopting an internationally recognized framework for communicating, summarizing, and jointly managing cybersecurity risks. In addition, it sought to strengthen the University’s organizational capacity to detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats in a timely, effective, and contextually appropriate manner.
