From April 22 – 24 and April 29 – 30, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the Thailand Digital Government Academy (TDGA), organized the “Cybersecurity for Technologist (DGA309)” workshop, Batch 1” for fiscal year 2026. The workshop featured Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, together with Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, as instructors. They delivered training sessions covering key topics in cybersecurity, including Security Overview, Cybersecurity Laws and Regulations, Risk Identification, Protection Strategies, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Recovery Planning, and Cybersecurity Incident Drills. The workshop was attended by 45 technology professionals and was held at TK. Palace Hotel & Convention, Bangkok.
The “Cybersecurity for Technologist” workshop is designed to raise participants’ awareness of their legal roles and responsibilities in cybersecurity, as well as to enhance their knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity threat management and digital technology risks, which have become critical challenges in today’s digital work environment. The course follows the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills that can be effectively applied to planning and responding to digital threats and risks within their organizations.
