The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), extends its congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Computer Science, and Head of the Medical Informatics Research Clusters (MI) and Machine Vision and Information Transfer (MVIT) Research Lab, on the successful registration of intellectual property in the form of a petty patent. The registered work, entitled “Biometric Animal Identification System,” has been officially granted a petty patent by the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce.
This project is a collaboration between the Faculty of ICT and the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, in partnership with True Corporation Public Company Limited. This achievement represents another significant milestone for the Faculty of ICT and Mahidol University in advancing research and innovation as a leading academic institution. It reflects a strong commitment to strengthening the research ecosystem and promoting the protection and sustainable utilization of intellectual property for long-term impact.
