ICT Mahidol Organized Industrial Study Visit for DST Students at SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited

On February 18, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized an industrial study visit to SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited for second-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The visit was led by Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, instructors in the Computer Science Academic Group and course instructors for ITDS201: Industry Problems and Experiences II.

The visit provided students with experiential learning opportunities across three company branches, as follows:

  • SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited, Wang Noi Branch — The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Suphanut Salaphim, who provided an overview of the company’s IT operations across various departments and guided the students on a tour of on-site operational activities at the Wang Noi facility.
  • SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited, Rangsit Branch — The visit was hosted by Mr. Wituwat Sapprom, who presented an overview of the company’s organizational structure and key operational functions across departments.
  • SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited, Bang Sue Branch — The visit featured a distinguished team of speakers, including Mr. Patchara Lertmanatchai, Mr. Thanakrit Kansuree, Mr. Sanya Chindaprasert, Mr. Thitiwut Timrat, and Mr. Parinya Namjaidee, who delivered a knowledge-sharing session on Artificial Intelligence (AI). In addition, Mr. Suttisak Wongsa presented approaches to program and application development using low-code platforms, while Ms. Wallapa Suensilpong provided insights into corporate data management and effective data utilization within the organization.

The industrial study visit provided faculty members and students with valuable opportunities to gain practical insights from the logistics industry, strengthening their understanding of technology and innovation in real-world operations. The activity also promoted knowledge exchange and helped students develop practical skills through direct engagement with industry professionals, fostering future-ready competencies.
