On August 28, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Academic Collaboration with Mr. Rene Jacques Desjardins, Chief Executive Officer of ATA IT Limited. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Sunetnanta, Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisupa Palakvangsa Na Ayudhya, and Dr. Pattaraporn Sangaroonsilp, instructors from the Computer Science Academic Group and members of the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA) at ICT Mahidol. Also in attendance were Ms. Thayada Sukphu, Chief Human Resource Officer, and representatives from ATA IT Limited. The ceremony was held in Room IT404, 4th Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This MoU aims to enhance students’ knowledge, competencies, and practical skills in information technology through various forms of experiential learning, including undergraduate research projects, short-term internships, and cooperative education programs. The collaboration also provides students with opportunities to integrate academic knowledge with insights and experience from the business sector to develop research outcomes and create innovations that effectively address market and industrial needs. Furthermore, the partnership aims to promote research and development collaboration, as well as technology transfer between academia and the private sector, with the shared goals of fostering the creation of new knowledge, advancing the development and application of research outcomes, and building a strong and sustainable relationship between the two sectors.
