The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), would like to congratulate Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Global Talent Professor, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Computer Science and Head of the Medical Informatics Research Cluster (MI) and the Machine Vision and Information Transfer (MVIT) research group, on being named among the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” for 2026 in the Career-long data category, recognizing scientists with high citation impact throughout their research careers. Both faculty members were ranked in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing.
The ranking was compiled by Stanford University and released on October 7, 2026, through the Elsevier Data Repository. It was based on data from the Scopus database as of August 1, 2026, together with citation data through the end of 2025. The ranking covers 20 major scientific fields and 174 subfields, based on the Science-Metrix classification system.
