ICT Mahidol Organized the “MUICT Open House 2026”

On September 5–6, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), hosted the “MUICT Open House 2026” under the theme “Cyberpunk Comic.” The event provided an opportunity for prospective students, high school teachers, and parents to learn more about ICT Mahidol, explore the faculty, and interact with current students and faculty members. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, representing the Dean of ICT Mahidol, welcomed participants, encouraged the student organizing team, and wished the MUICT Open House 2026 a successful event.

On the first day of the event, September 5, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of ICT Mahidol, attended the opening ceremony of the “Mahidol Open House 2026.” The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Vice President of Mahidol University, who delivered the opening remarks.
The ceremony was also attended by the University’s executive team, who extended their greetings to participants and visited booths representing various faculties at the Sirivittaya Building, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. This year, the university-wide event was held under the theme “From Passion to Impact.”

Moreover, ICT Mahidol participated in an academic guidance session introducing the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The session also provided information on student admissions for the 2027 academic year to parents, students, and other interested participants. The session was presented by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, at the Sirivittaya Building.

The two-day MUICT Open House 2026, held at the Faculty of ICT Building, Mahidol University, was organized into three main activity zones:

  • Registration: The registration and information area provided attendees with information about the event, along with recreational activities and live music performances by ICT Mahidol students at the Innovative Space on the 1st
  • Course Recommendations: This zone provided information and guidance on ICT Mahidol’s academic programs, including the undergraduate programs B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), as well as the graduate programs M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Game Technology and Gamification, and M.Sc. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Attendees also learned about opportunities to participate in short-term overseas exchange programs and internships with leading IT companies in Thailand. Activities in this zone were held at the Bits & Bytes Hall on the 4th
  • Senior Project & ICT Club: This zone featured exhibitions showcasing ICT Mahidol student clubs and activities, as well as Senior Projects and student research projects. Attendees had the opportunity to explore students’ work and gain firsthand insight into their learning experiences at ICT Mahidol. The exhibition was held at the Grand Auditorium on the 4th

Throughout the two-day event, more than 4,400 participants attended the activities at ICT Mahidol. The Faculty of ICT sincerely thanks all parents, students, and visitors for their interest in its academic programs and activities. Special appreciation is extended to the organizing team from all departments and to the students for their dedication and contributions to the success of the event.
