The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), congratulates Team DugongID on winning 2nd Runner-up, along with a THB 10,000 cash prize, in the Prototype category under the “Smart Environment & Circular Economy” theme at Sriracha Hackathon 2026. Held under the theme “AI & Digital Green Innovation for Sustainable Future,” the competition took place on September 11, 2026, at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus.
Team DugongID consisted of third-year students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), together with a student from the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. The team was advised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems and Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ananta Srisuphab, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group. The team members were :

“Sriracha Hackathon 2026” was an innovation competition aimed at promoting creative ideas and the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to advance sustainable development. Under the theme “AI & Digital Green Innovation for Sustainable Future,” the competition attracted more than 100 teams of university students from 16 universities across Thailand. Following the selection process, 36 teams advanced to the final round in two categories: Ideate and Prototype. The competition addressed various dimensions of sustainability, including Smart Green Living & Sustainable Community, Smart Environment & Circular Economy, Sustainable Agriculture & Food Innovation, and Digital Health & Well-being.
ICT Mahidol extends its heartfelt congratulations to the students on this achievement, which brings great pride to the Faculty.
