On February 19, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the academic seminar MUICT-AST x Industry TechConnect 2026 under the topic “Prompt Engineering & Practical AI Tools for Learning and Work.” The seminar was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant to the President for Research of Mahidol University and an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group at ICT Mahidol, who served as the guest speaker. She shared valuable insights on the practical application of prompt engineering to support learning and professional work. The session was conducted online via Webex Meetings and was attended by students, staff members, and interested participants.
The objective of this seminar was to provide participants with foundational knowledge of Prompt Engineering and systematic prompt-writing techniques. The session also introduced various AI tools that can effectively support academic and professional tasks, including content analysis and summarization, document preparation, project planning, and code generation. Emphasis was placed on utilizing AI as a skill-enhancement assistant while ensuring accuracy verification and responsible AI usage.

• Wednesday, February 25, 2026 (1:00–4:00 PM): “Building LINE Chatbots for Real Use Cases” by Mr. Chanakarn Chinchatchawal, CEO & Co-Founder of Robolingo Co., Ltd., and ICT Alumnus (Batch 7)
• Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (1:00–3:00 PM): “Typhoon – Thai LLM” by Ms. Oravee Smithiphol, Developer Relations Manager (ICT Alumna, Batch 9), and Mr. Panuwat Chayabunjonglerd, Business Lead from SCB 10X
• Wednesday, March 18, 2026 (1:00–5:00 PM): “Agentic RAG from Zero to Hero” by Mr. Paripol Toopiroh, Solution Architect from Beryl 8 Plus Public Company Limited
• Wednesday, March 25, 2026 (1:00–4:00 PM): “Agile Scrum LEGO Workshop” by the team from Netbay Public Company Limited
