The Mahidol Games is an annual event organized by Mahidol University to promote sports and recreational activities among its personnel, while also fostering unity and strengthening relationships among faculties and departments across the university. In 2026, the competition featured 19 sports and was held from February 23 to March 31, 2026, under the theme “In Memory of Queen Sirikit.” This theme was adopted to commemorate the gracious benevolence of Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, by reflecting her royal vision and distinguished contributions in multiple areas. These include economic development and career creation to strengthen community resilience; social development aimed at improving the quality of life and well-being of the people; environmental conservation focused on the sustainable management of natural resources; and the preservation and promotion of Thai arts and cultural heritage, which uphold Thailand’s national identity.
