On 24 June 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant to the President for Research, Mahidol University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development; Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Computer Science, and Head of the Medical Informatics Research Clusters (MI) and Machine Vision and Information Transfer (MVIT) Research Group, welcomed delegates from National Central University, Republic of China (Taiwan), on the occasion of their visit to ICT Mahidol to discuss potential academic collaboration. The discussion focused on potential academic collaboration opportunities, including the development of double-degree or joint-degree programs at the master’s and doctoral levels, as well as the possible signing of an MoU for the double-degree program. The meeting was held at Room IT426, 4th Floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

This meeting marked another significant step in expanding ICT Mahidol’s international collaboration network, particularly in graduate education, academic and research knowledge exchange, and the creation of academic opportunities for students. The collaboration is expected to further strengthen teaching and research in information and communication technology at the international level.
