On July 24, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course entitled “Decode AI: Uncovering the Secrets of Artificial Intelligence.” The course was conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ananta Srisuphab, Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyanuch Silapachote, Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Sunetnanta, instructors from the Computer Science Academic Group. The course introduced participants to the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence (AI), including how AI systems work, the principles of machine learning, and the applications of AI in everyday life. Participants also took part in a hands-on session in which they developed a simple AI model under the guidance of the instructors. The course aimed to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of AI, enabling them to apply AI concepts in their daily lives while building a strong foundation for future learning in technology-related fields. More than 40 upper secondary school students participated in the course, which was held in Room IT325 on the 3rd floor of the ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course, entitled “Decode AI: Uncovering the Secrets of Artificial Intelligence,” was organized to provide upper secondary school students with an opportunity to explore the Faculty of ICT’s teaching and learning approaches, experience a university learning environment firsthand, and enhance their technological knowledge and practical skills through hands-on learning.
