On April 22, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and member of the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), in his capacity as the instructor of ITDS101: Industry Problems and Experiences 1, led first-year students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) on an study visit to Terabyte Plus Public Company Limited. On this occasion, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Surasit Kiwprasopsak, Chief Executive Officer of Terabyte Plus Public Company Limited (CS alumnus, Batch 6, and MS Alumnus, Batch 3). During the session “The Meet-Up: ‘DST-MUICT Meets TERA Executives’,” Mr. Surasit Kiwprasopsak shared valuable insights into real-world practices in the information technology industry, inspiring students to further develop themselves for their future career paths.
Furthermore, the students participated in a series of talks on software development and system integration services conducted by executives and specialists from Skyfrog Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Terabyte Plus Public Company Limited. The sessions featured presentations by Mr. Maytouch Udommahuntisuk, Managing Director, on “Introduction to SKYFROG TMS,” and Mr. Thanaphon Pansarakam, Deputy Technology Director, on “How to Become a Top-Performer Developer While Still in University.” The sessions provided students with valuable technological knowledge, practical insights into professional work, and firsthand experience from the industry.
The activity also provided students with the opportunity to experience a real working environment across different areas of the organization, including operational workspaces and business processes. The delegation was guided by company professionals and mentors, including Mr. Tatsapon Kueyen, Service Manager at Terabyte Plus Public Company Limited, and Mr. Suwicha Sudjainiyom, Sr. Solution Consulting Manager at Skyfrog Co., Ltd., who shared their experiences and engaged with students in a friendly and interactive environment.
The study visit was organized to enhance learning beyond the classroom by providing students with a clear understanding of how digital knowledge is applied in real working environments, particularly in areas such as software development, project management, customer service, and collaboration within technology organizations. The experience also supported students in effectively applying their knowledge and experience to future academic studies and professional careers.
