ICT Mahidol Delivered Cybersecurity Inservice Training and Explored Academic Collaboration with Jirasartwitthaya School

On May 13, 2026, Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited to deliver special lectures for the “Inservice Training” program at Jirasartwitthaya School, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The training featured lectures on “Guidelines for Preventing Cyber Threats in Educational Institutions” and “Safe Internet and Digital Media Usage (Cybersecurity)” for the school’s teachers and staff members. The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of various cyber threats, promote awareness of risk prevention in internet and digital media usage, and encourage the application of cybersecurity knowledge to personal protection, student supervision, and teaching and learning practices in the digital era in a safe and appropriate manner. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology of the Faculty of ICT, who also introduced the Faculty’s academic programs.

In addition, the Faculty of ICT, led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, discussed potential academic collaboration with the executive team of Jirasartwitthaya School, led by Dr. Sutthathip Chaiyaratana, School Director, together with teachers from the technology talent development program. The meeting explored several areas of potential cooperation, including student recruitment, the organization of learning enhancement activities for secondary school teachers and students, as well as joint research projects. The discussion marked another important step in strengthening academic collaboration between higher education institutions and secondary schools, with the shared goal of developing educational potential, promoting knowledge exchange, and providing students in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province with greater access to learning opportunities in technology and innovation in the future.
