On March 26, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with Ms. Piyaporn Taepaisitphongse, Assistant Vice President-Betagro Deli Business Development Office, and Ms. Premratn Taephaisitphongse, Assistant Vice President-Project Management, Betagro Public Company Limited. The signing ceremony was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems, along with Ms. Genevieve Siriwan Finet, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Mr. Somboon Chanthep, Assistant Vice President – HR Business Partner, who served as witnesses. The ceremony took place at Meeting Room 202, Betagro Tower, Betagro Public Company Limited.
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to the knowledge, capability, and essential skills of ICT students in the field of information technology through hands-on learning experiences, including undergraduate research projects (Senior Project) under the Faculty of ICT and participation in internship or cooperative education programs with the company. The collaboration also aims to provide opportunities for high-potential students to further develop capability and produce research outcomes or new innovation. Furthermore, the partnership emphasizes knowledge development to enable students to strengthen their competence beyond classroom learning by integrating the company’s industry expertise into research activities, with the aim of generating practical outcomes that align with current market needs. The partnership also aims to promote collaborative research and development that can be practically applied within private sector organizations in the country, while strengthening academic cooperation and fostering positive relationships between the business sector and educational institutions to facilitate effective technology transfer for real-world applications.
