ICT Mahidol Welcomed Exchange Student from Tokyo City University (TCU), Japan

From 7 – 20 March 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) warmly welcomed Miss Mayu Yamada, an exchange student from Tokyo City University (TCU), Japan, who participated in a two-week academic exchange programme at ICT Mahidol, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

During the exchange period, the student was closely supervised by Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research, and Dr. Pilailuck Panphattarasap, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, throughout her academic and experiential learning at ICT Mahidol. On the same occasion, on 20 March 2026, Miss Mayu Yamada presented a summary of her learning outcomes at the conclusion of her exchange programme. The presentation was attended online by Prof. Kenya Jinno, her academic advisor, together with fellow students from Tokyo City University (TCU), Japan, who joined to observe the session and show their support.

In addition to her academic engagement, Miss Mayu Yamada also participated in cultural learning activities, including a visit to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, where she experienced the unique charm of Thai culture. She also attended the Advanced Public Speaking class taught by Mr. Brian Marcar, an English instructor, together with students from the ICT International Program, to further strengthen her communication skills and promote cultural exchange.

On this occasion, the Faculty of ICT would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Global Partnerships Division, Mahidol University, for the financial support provided through the “Scholarship for Accommodation for Exchange Students 2026,” which facilitated the student’s stay and supported her throughout her exchange period in Thailand.

The Faculty of ICT sincerely hopes that Miss Mayu Yamada has gained valuable experiences, knowledge, and wonderful friendships from participating in this exchange programme.
