The event took place at Football Field 1, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The opening ceremony was filled with a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, as students from all faculties of Mahidol University gathered to take part in this year’s sports competitions. The games feature a variety of sports, including football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tug of war, pétanque, table tennis, athletics, and e-sports.
The Mahidol University Student Games, “Chor Kanpai Games 2026 (MU Games 2026)”, are scheduled to take place from March 11 to 27, 2026, under the theme “Zzz… Station: The Awakening of Hypnos.” The concept is inspired by Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep, and is conveyed through symbols of rest and awakening. The theme reflects the lives of Mahidol University students, who dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their studies and various activities, sometimes to the point of overlooking the importance of rest.
The sports competition aims to promote physical activity among students, provide opportunities for relaxation from academic commitments, and strengthen both physical and mental well-being. The event also encourages student participation in sports and interfaculty activities, helping to create a lively and energetic campus atmosphere.
The Faculty of ICT extends its support to students representing the faculty in the various sporting events and wishes them every success in the competition.
