On February 27, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Professor Dr. Peter Haddawy, Global Talent Professor, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Rainer Malaka, Dean of Informatics (FB3), University of Bremen, Federal Republic of Germany. The visit aimed to enhance academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The meeting was held in Room IT223, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, and was also attended by Dr. Sansiri Tarnpradab, Lecturer from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset led the delegate on a tour of the Mahidol–Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU Lab) and the Mahidol University Artificial Intelligence Center (MU AI Center). The delegation also visited the construction site of the Intelligent Digital Hub in Medicine (IDHM), a project integrating intelligent digital technologies, innovation, and artificial intelligence for medical advancement. The site is located at the Rugby–Football field area behind the Ramathibodi Hospital Nursing Student Dormitories, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
