ICT Mahidol Organized a Career Development Activity on “ICT Mahidol x Bluebik Group”

On September 2, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “ICT Mahidol x Bluebik Group” career development activity under the topic “QA as a Career: More Than Just Testing.” The activity provided first- to fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) with an opportunity to learn about Quality Assurance (QA) roles and career pathways. The session also introduced students to professional software testing practices through experience sharing by industry professionals. The activity was held at Computer Laboratory IT103, 1st Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The session featured an introduction to Bluebik Group and an overview of career opportunities in the technology industry. Ms. Linda Groen and Ms. Sataphon Sungkhawanna, Recruitment Business Partner, shared information about the organization, workplace preparation, and career opportunities for students interested in technology and software development.

Following the introduction, Mr. Tawanat Klungnak, Senior Software Tester (QA) at Bluebik Group Public Company Limited and an alumnus of the ICT International Program, Batch12, delivered a session entitled “QA as a Career: More Than Just Testing,” sharing his professional knowledge and experience. The session provided an overview of the role and importance of Quality Assurance (QA) in the software development process, emphasizing that QA is not limited to testing systems and identifying errors but also plays an important role in ensuring quality and preventing potential issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

In addition, the Bluebik Group team shared insights into employment opportunities with the company and engaged with students through a Q&A session covering job application preparation, skills valued by the industry, and career advancement opportunities. The discussion gave students a better understanding of the professional workplace and provided practical information to support their future career planning.

The “ICT Mahidol x Bluebik Group” activity aimed to provide students with opportunities to learn from industry professionals and alumni working in the field while complementing the knowledge and skills gained through their academic studies.
