On July 31, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), accompanied first-year students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) to Mahidol University’s Academic Year 2026 New Student Orientation Ceremony. The event was held under the theme “All on Board! Launch into the Future” at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, together with members of the University Executive Team and administrators from faculties and institutions across Mahidol University. During the ceremony, the President officially welcomed the 137th cohort of new students to Mahidol University and provided valuable information and guidance to support their academic journey and campus life. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, also extended a warm welcome to the new students.
The event also featured the “Mahidol Talk” session, during which Mahidol University alumni and current students shared their experiences, exchanged ideas, and offered words of encouragement to inspire the new students as they begin their university journey.
The orientation ceremony marked an important first step in welcoming the new students to university life, providing them with opportunities to begin their academic journey, further develop their potential, and gain valuable experiences that will prepare them to become well-rounded graduates who are ready to make meaningful contributions to society.
