On May 25, 2026, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), signed an Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ms. Patuporn Banyen, Assistant Vice President, Recruitment and Selection, Human Resources, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with Ms. Suvaluck Jivamongkol, HR Analyst, Recruitment and Selection, Human Resources, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited. The ceremony took place at Room IT404, 4th Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance students’ knowledge, capabilities, and information technology skills through undergraduate research projects (Senior Projects) conducted in collaboration with Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited. The partnership will provide students with opportunities to further develop their knowledge, create research outputs, and produce innovative solutions that can be effectively applied in real-world contexts. Furthermore, the collaboration emphasizes the integration of information technology expertise from the academic sector with business knowledge from the banking sector to support research and development initiatives that respond to current market needs. It also aims to promote research and academic cooperation between the education and private sectors, leading to tangible outcomes that can create concrete benefits for the private sector in Thailand. In addition, this MoU strengthens academic collaboration and fosters good relations between the business and education sectors, ultimately contributing to the effective transfer and application of knowledge, technology, and innovation in the future.
