On March 18, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant to the President for Research, Mahidol University, who served as instructors for ITDS201: Industry Problems and Experiences II, organized a special lecture titled “Preparing for a Career in Tech (for Beginners).” On this occasion, Mr. Pongchai Charoenrungrodkun, SCB Tech Hub Manager at Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited (SCB), was invited as the guest speaker to share insights on how to prepare for a career in the tech industry and the essential skills needed for those interested in starting a tech career, even without a strong technical background. The lecture aimed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of careers in technology, guidance on personal development planning, and the skills required to meet the current demands of the digital industry. The lecture was delivered to students in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) and was held in Room IT204, 2nd floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
