On October 21, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with SCB TechX, organized the “ICT Mahidol x SCB TechX Special Talk” on the topic of “AI & the Future of Work: Skills and Careers for the Next Generation.” The session featured Ms. Apinya Mokkaraphan, Senior Talent Acquisition, and Mr. Naiprakarn Nakornkhet, Senior Software Engineer, from SCB TechX, who introduced the organization and shared insights into the evolution of technology, the current capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI), emerging career trends, and essential skills for the future.
In addition, the speakers introduced technology stacks commonly used in programming careers and practical techniques for using AI tools to enhance workplace productivity, while highlighting important ethical considerations in the use of AI. The session concluded with a Q&A session, providing students with an opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in discussions with the speakers. The event was attended by students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). It was held in Room IT331, 3rd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, inspire their career aspirations, and prepare them for the digital workplace by developing essential skills, strengthening their understanding of career trends in the information technology sector, and helping them apply the knowledge gained to their future career planning.
