On September 23, 2026, the Media and Entertainment Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “Animation and Comic Showcase” for first- to fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The event was opened by Mr. Piyapong Pongruang, a third-year student in the ICT International Program and President of the Media and Entertainment Club. The organizing team also included Mr. Atigun Kerdbourpatch, Vice President; Mr. Thakorn Jullobol, Secretary; Miss Onwara Wongsawat, Treasurer; Miss Panlapas Keerin, Mr. Borwornwat Klawandee, and Mr. Kitti Ananmontree, club members. The team introduced the club and provided an overview of its operations and activities to the participating students. The event was held in Room IT311, 3rd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The activity aimed to introduce the Media and Entertainment Club to new students and provide a platform for those interested in media and entertainment to learn more about the club’s activities. The event featured an exhibition of comics and animations created by senior student members, allowing them to share their experiences and inspire students interested in pursuing careers in these fields. In addition, students had the opportunity to interact with the creators, exchange experiences, and gain insights into the creative concepts and processes behind their work, including comic creation, animation, and Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) character design. The activity encouraged knowledge sharing and creative exchange while fostering connections among students with shared interests within the Faculty.
