On September 23, 2026, the IoT Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and Club Advisor, organized the “IoT Careers in the AI Era: Opportunities, Essential Skills, and Future Readiness”. The event welcomed Mr. Ronnawet Phothong, Manager of the Thai IoT Association, as a guest speaker who shared his knowledge and professional experiences with first- to fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The event was held in Rooms IT211 and IT212 on the 2nd Floor of the ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of career trends and employment opportunities in the Internet of Things (IoT) field in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as the essential skills required for professional development and future career readiness. The session covered key areas of career preparation, including academic preparation, project development, internship experience, and portfolio development. The knowledge and practical insights gained from the activity can be applied to students’ personal development and career planning, helping them pursue future opportunities in the IoT field and the digital job market with greater confidence and readiness.
