On 11 August 2026, Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, and Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean for Engineering and Environment, welcomed a delegation from the House Committee on Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, led by Mr. Thanyathorn Dhaninwattanathorn, Spokesperson of the Committee , along with staff from the Secretariat of the Committee on Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, during their visit to the Mahidol University Artificial Intelligence Center (MU AI Center). The delegation visited the MU AI Center to learn about Mahidol University’s initiatives in promoting an innovation ecosystem and advanced technologies, with a focus on supporting the application of knowledge and innovation for sustainable commercial and societal benefits. The visit was held in Room IT404, ICT Mahidol, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
On this occasion, Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart and the ICT Mahidol executive team delivered welcoming remarks and introduced the MU AI Center, highlighting its roles and key activities in promoting the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, as well as supporting research, innovation, and technology development across Mahidol University.
The study visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to exchange knowledge and perspectives on fostering an innovation ecosystem and advancing the application of emerging technologies. Particular emphasis was placed on research and innovation management, knowledge linkage, technology transfer, and translating research outcomes into practical applications across the commercial, industrial, and societal sectors.
